THE FULL STORY

My name is Kylee Sodomka and I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Sports Media and Communication and Broadcasting. I have always had a passion for sports, whether I was a player or a spectator. What encouraged me to start a career in this field was Cubs broadcaster, Harry Caray.

My first step into the sports media world was with the Nebraska News Service for a summer internship. I was a writer/reporter for the UNLimited Sports section. My role was to find and write stories from people who normally wouldn't have their stories shared.

I worked at HuskerVision, helping to produce sporting events and content for the past two years. I was a producer for B1G+ Student Streams for the Nebraska Soccer team. Other roles I have had at HuskerVision include director, EVS operator, camera operator, audio operator, and editor. Along with soccer, I helped produce sporting events like volleyball, softball, baseball, wrestling, women's gymnastics, and men's and women's basketball.

I currently work with the Lincoln Saltdogs as part of their Video Production team. My primary role is inputting live game stats and season stats for teams and players using Dakstats. I have also created videos used as commercials for our live streams and did some voice-over reads for graphics played before the baseball game starts.
